The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles scores with a jab to the body.
Myllykoski on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Myllykoski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Myllykoski tries to move into range but Miles moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Myllykoski drives through and clinches with Miles against the cage.
Miles wants to get back to striking at distance but Myllykoski won't allow it.
Miles swings wildly with an uppercut but Myllykoski uses good head movement to avoid it.

Myllykoski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miles's waist but Miles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Myllykoski off to one side.

Miles lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Miles is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Myllykoski had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Miles moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Myllykoski shoots in but no luck this time.
Miles lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Miles throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Myllykoski's head.
Myllykoski ducks right into an uppercut from Miles.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Myllykoski. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Miles goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Miles lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Miles takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Myllykoski is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miles lands with a hook. Myllykoski tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Myllykoski is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Miles has his hands clasped together but Myllykoski extends an breaks Miles's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Myllykoski.
