Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes to the cage accompanied by RAWR. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Henderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Henderson's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Henderson wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but Henderson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Henderson is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kirk Gracie.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Henderson.

Henderson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henderson sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Henderson sees it coming and defends easily.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Henderson is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie moves into full mount! Henderson won't be happy about that!

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Henderson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie.
