The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ubamoneda circles away.

Woods escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ubamoneda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Woods shoots in but no luck this time.
Woods moves in looking to clinch but Ubamoneda pushes him off.

Ubamoneda had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Woods is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ubamoneda Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Woods's back instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Woods wants to control his opponent's hands but Ubamoneda gets his hands free.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Woods counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ubamoneda won't be happy with that.
Ubamoneda parries the strikes from Woods easily there. Woods is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ubamoneda to escape.
Woods misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
