Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winter comes into the arena with Hiver & Hammer - Fusion blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter throws a lazy right hand but Silva sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Silva blocks a jab.
Winter scores with a sloppy right hand. Silva should have avoided that one.
Winter misses with an uppercut.
Silva dodges the punch combination from Winter.

Silva drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Winter is keeping the position.
Silva is looking to advance position but Winter has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Silva is trying to escape the mount.
Silva wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Winter is riding his opponent, not letting Silva buck him off.

Silva rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Winter is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Winter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Silva moves away from the strike by Winter.
Harry Winter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Winter throws a hook but Silva avoids it easily.
Silva moves out of range of the strikes.
Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Winter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Winter loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Winter lands a left and a right that sends Silva crashing to the canvas! Winter dives into mount looking to finish!

Silva seems to have recovered his senses.

Winter manages to capitalize on a mistake by Silva to take his back!
Winter keeps control of the position as Silva tries to break free.
Winter is trying to stick to Silva's back but Silva is turning into Winter. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Winter's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Silva.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Silva shoots in and bounces Winter off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Winter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Silva has gone for a leg lock! Winter slips out almost immediately though and dives into Silva's guard.
Winter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Winter's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Harry Winter will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Winter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Silva counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Winter!
Winter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Silva throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Winter has his hands clasped together but Silva breaks the hold and Winter is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Silva!
