The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazee shoots in but Rose avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Rose drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kazee dives on top into guard.

Rose bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kazee's guard.
Rose loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rose in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Kazee has momentary wrist control but Rose slips an elbow through the middle.
Kazee wants to sweep but no luck.
Rose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kazee is keeping the position for now.

Rose makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rose throwing strikes but Kazee manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Rose is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kazee's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
