Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Yankee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Holden James!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James swats away the attempt to clinch by Yankee.
Yankee tries to clinch up.
Yankee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yankee fails in his attempt to clinch.
James closes the distance but Yankee moves to the side
and Yankee counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yankee checks the leg kick nicely there.
James thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yankee throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.
James misses with a straight left.
Yankee tries to clinch
and James counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
James blocks a head kick by Yankee.
James tries to clinch up.
A nice combination there by Yankee.

James throws a poor cross that misses
and Yankee counters with a head kick. That will keep James thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
James keeps the fight on the outside.
Yankee moves out of range as James throws a body kick.

and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Some bone on bone action there as James checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Holden James seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Yankee is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.
Yankee looks for the body kick but James saw that one coming.
Yankee blocks a leg kick.
Yankee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
James scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

James moves into the clinch successfully.
James throws a head punch that misses.

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and James counters with a lovely shot to the body.
James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Yankee.

Yankee moves into the clinch successfully.

Yankee softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Yankee works on James's body with a couple of short punches.
Yankee lands a body punch in the clinch.
James tries a body shot but Yankee blocks it.
Yankee is trying to break free.
Yankee is trying to force a seperation but James has the dominant position.
Yankee trying to stall but James improves his position.
James tries to land knees in the clinch but Yankee avoids the damage to the body.
James has a couple of punches blocked by Yankee.

Oh Yankee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

James pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
James moves in looking to clinch but Yankee pushes him off.

James moves into range and clinches up with Yankee.
James lands a big right hand that drops Yankee! The killer instinct kicks in and James finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by James!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Holden James!
After the fight, Holden James was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
