Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Marquardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nate Marquardt looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquardt closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Perkins closes the distance and clinches.
Marquardt tries to pull guard but Perkins forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Perkins drags the fight down to the ground.
Perkins has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Marquardt has passed into side control.

Marquardt decides to stand back up. Marquardt steps back and let's Perkins get back to his feet.
Perkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marquardt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Perkins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Marquardt tries to bum rush Perkins with a series of wild strikes but Perkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Perkins shoots for a takedown but Marquardt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
