The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams jabs at James's body.
Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. James should have avoided that one.
A punch combination from Williams misses.
Williams wants to clinch.
James scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Williams misses with a double jab
and James counters with a nice body kick.
James connects with an inside leg kick.
James lands with a straight right. Williams didn't see that one coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

James drops Williams with a beautiful combination! Williams stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - James is looking for the KO!

It looks like David Williams has been cut.
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Williams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has James pinned against the cage. James gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - James sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Williams tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Devon James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Williams.
James lands the left hand.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
James walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Williams drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! James swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Williams's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
