Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sticky Buds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Chiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chiba has chosen Chop Suey as his entrance music. Tetsuo Chiba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiba throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Buds cracks a nice hook into Chiba's ribs.
Chiba blocks a jab.
Buds goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Buds looks to land a right hand but Chiba moved out of range.
Chiba dodges the punch combination from Buds.

Chiba sends Buds crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chiba is motioning to the referee to let Buds up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Sticky Buds has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buds looks to land a left hand but Chiba moved out of range nicely.
Buds throws a hook but Chiba blocks it.
Buds avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Buds scores with a nice right hand.

Chiba cracks Buds with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Buds looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chiba finish him?

Buds is rocked!

Buds avoids the body shot from Chiba.
Chiba throws a head kick but Buds moves out of range.

and Chiba counters with a nice right hand that sends Buds toppling to the canvas! Buds scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Chiba finish him?!
Oh Buds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sticky Buds's cut is getting worse.
Sticky Buds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Buds missing with a left hand there. Chiba was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Buds seems to have got his legs back now.
Chiba throws a body punch but Buds moves out of range.

Chiba lands a big uppercut and Buds crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Buds looks OK. Chiba waves Buds back to his feet!

Sticky Buds's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Chiba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Buds throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chiba.
Buds lands a head shot.

Buds throws a hook but Chiba avoids it easily.
Chiba throws a series of punches but Buds avoids them all with ease.
Buds misses with a shot to the body
and Chiba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Buds throws a lazy right hand but Chiba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Buds throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Buds jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Chiba takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Buds uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Buds scores with a shot to the body.
Chiba comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Buds bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Buds throws out a powerful jab.
Chiba misses with a looping right.
Chiba closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Buds scores with a jab to the jaw.
Chiba misses with a wild body shot.
Buds is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Buds throws a right and a left that both miss.
Chiba stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Jeez, Sticky Buds's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sticky Buds's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
