Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kim Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stokes has chosen TNT - AC/DC as his entrance music. Nathan Stokes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kim Dong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Stokes!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dong is defended easily by Stokes.
Stokes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dong.
Dong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stokes as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dong fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stokes avoids it really well and circles away.

Stokes has Dong up against the ropes in a clinch.

Dong turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Stokes is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Dong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dong wants to stand but Stokes is controlling his arm.

Stokes throws Dong to one side and escapes!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stokes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dong as he avoids it easily.
Dong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stokes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dong shoots in for a takedown but Stokes shows good takedown defense.

Stokes drives through and clinches with Dong against the ropes.
Dong wants to take the fight to the mat but Stokes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dong is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Stokes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dong pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stokes.
Stokes dives in and grabs Dong's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dong pushes down on Stokes's head and hops out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dong has his takedown stuffed

and Stokes counters with a takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stokes sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stokes misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dong tries to escape but Stokes is in control.
Dong takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Dong is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Stokes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dong is breathing heavily.
Dong takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Dong takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Stokes sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Stokes working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Dong taking punishment in the form of punches.
Stokes working the head and body with strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dong is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Stokes is controlling him well.
Stokes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Stokes decides to stand back up.
Dong shoots in for a takedown but Stokes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dong shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Stokes kicks off Dong and gets to his feet.
Dong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Stokes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dong is pushing Stokes's head away, looking to escape. Stokes manages to hold on to the position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Check out the look on Stokes's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Stokes misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Stokes lands a decent elbow from side control.


Dong is rocked!
Stokes scoring with punches and elbows.
Oh Dong is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stokes scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Dong is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Stokes can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Stokes!
Nathan Stokes decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
