Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrzej Grzesiuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Rush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrzej Grzesiuk!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grzesiuk fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Grzesiuk throws a lazy head kick

and Rush counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grzesiuk won't be happy with that.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Rush tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rush has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Grzesiuk tries to buck Rush off but Rush is having none of it.
Rush is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Rush trying to control the position but Grzesiuk is working away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grzesiuk takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Rush tries for a kimura but Grzesiuk is defending well.
Grzesiuk wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Grzesiuk tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rush wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Grzesiuk manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rush connecting with a few gentle strikes.
Grzesiuk missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Grzesiuk tries to pass to full mount but Rush defends it.
Rush avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Grzesiuk.
Rush is not content to let Grzesiuk control the position.
Rush could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Grzesiuk throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rush is trying to stand back up but Grzesiuk is controlling him
Grzesiuk is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Grzesiuk throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grzesiuk throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rush because Grzesiuk loaded up on that one.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grzesiuk lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Grzesiuk fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Grzesiuk looking to control but Rush is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Grzesiuk lands a big shot there that rocks Rush but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Grzesiuk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rush looks a forlorn figure.
Grzesiuk is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Rush really wants to buck Grzesiuk off and get back to his feet.
Rush takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grzesiuk takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rush is looking to improve his position but Grzesiuk isn't that keen on the idea.
Rush is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Grzesiuk lands a big elbow.


It looks like Hunter Rush has been cut.
Grzesiuk scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rush?


Rush is rocked!


Hunter Rush's cut is getting worse.
Grzesiuk postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Rush in real trouble here! The ref calls for Rush to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrzej Grzesiuk!
