The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cummins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mohammed sprawls well. Mohammed wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cummins gets slowly back to his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mohammed.
Cummins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Cummins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mohammed defends it nicely.

Cummins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mohammed is looking to regain half guard here but Cummins keeps moving and retains side control.

Mohammed is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cummins has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cummins!

Mohammed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cummins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cummins manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mohammed on his heels. He'll look to pass Mohammed's guard now, I'm sure.

Cummins stands and throws Mohammed's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mohammed is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cummins asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Cummins is working to tighten is grip on Mohammed's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mohammed has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cummins is really squeezing tight and eventually Mohammed passes out! Cummins breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
