The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hederson scores with a kick to the body.
Hederson throws a body kick that misses.
Muhhamad Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Hederson. No joy for Gracie on that attempt.
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Hederson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hederson misses with a kick to the body.
Hederson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.

Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hederson wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hederson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Hederson in his guard.
Hederson is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him.
Hederson trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Gracie pushes a forearm under Hederson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hederson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
