The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan throws a nice looking combination but Marsh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Marsh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Marsh decides to stand back up. Marsh steps back and let's Ryan get back to his feet.
Ryan moves in looking to clinch but Marsh pushes him off.
Marsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Marsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ryan throws a low kick but Marsh avoids it.
Ryan drops Marsh with a left and a right! Oh, Marsh is hurt - Ryan dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Eric Marsh has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marsh sneaks out the side door and pushes Ryan away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ryan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Marsh counters with a nice leg kick.

Marsh is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Marsh looking to ground and pound but Ryan is blocking nicely.

Marsh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Marsh throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ryan because Marsh loaded up on that one.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Marsh is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ryan has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ryan!

Marsh pushes Ryan off and scrambles back to his feet.
Marsh is breathing heavily.
Marsh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ryan. That did some damage!
Ryan lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Marsh can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ryan and Marsh drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ryan.
