Myshkin has chosen Rock Version of the Russian National Anthem as his entrance music. eddie lavelle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lavelle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Myshkin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Myshkin wants to stand and escape but instead lavelle has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
lavelle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Myshkin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead lavelle passes into side control.
lavelle trying to control the action but Myshkin is working from the bottom.
Myshkin tries to buck lavelle off but lavelle is having none of it.
Myshkin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but lavelle has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Myshkin tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but lavelle presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

lavelle could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
lavelle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Myshkin on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. eddie lavelle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Myshkin gets the takedown into side control.
lavelle prevents Myshkin from improving position.

Myshkin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
lavelle is trying to get back to his feet.

Myshkin stands up and beckons lavelle to his feet.
lavelle throws a head kick but Myshkin moves out of range.

Myshkin doesn't manage to clinch there - lavelle circles away.

Myshkin throws a lazy head kick

and lavelle counters by moving into the clinch.
lavelle is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Myshkin is keeping busy.
lavelle gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Myshkin.
lavelle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Myshkin pulls his leg out and moves away.
lavelle feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Myshkin's calf.
Myshkin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

lavelle forces Myshkin back against the cage and clinches.
lavelle lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Myshkin tries to pull guard but lavelle holds him up against the cage and eventually Myshkin drops back down to his feet.
