Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ozi Kepart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Fiasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ozi Kepart looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ozi Kepart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Julian Fiasco!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fiasco gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kepart misses with a knee strike.
Fiasco blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kepart tries a knee to the head but Fiasco blocks it.
Kepart tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kepart is breathing heavily.
Fiasco drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kepart pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kepart keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Fiasco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fiasco wants to free his trapped foot but Kepart is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Julian Fiasco was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Fiasco shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Fiasco was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fiasco takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Fiasco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kepart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fiasco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kepart is squirming around, avoiding Fiasco's attempts to control the action.

Fiasco swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kepart is now in Fiasco's guard. A big mistake from Fiasco there, giving up the dominant position!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kepart postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Fiasco pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Julian Fiasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fiasco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kepart tries to avoid it but Fiasco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kepart to the ground. Kepart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fiasco shoots in for a double leg but Kepart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fiasco shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kepart as he jumps to the side.
Ozi Kepart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Fiasco.
Kepart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kepart moves in looking to clinch but Fiasco pushes him off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fiasco is defended easily by Kepart.

Kepart fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fiasco, pushing him back against the cage.
Fiasco is trying to pull guard but Kepart has him pressed against the cage.
Kepart tries a knee to the head but Fiasco blocks it.
Kepart throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fiasco blocks it with crossed arms.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fiasco is trying to break the clinch but Kepart is controlling him.

Fiasco gets control of Kepart's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fiasco will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Kepart got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fiasco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kepart has managed to get both his arms back between Fiasco's legs - danger averted.

Fiasco has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kepart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fiasco shoots in looking for a takedown but Kepart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fiasco's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kepart tries to close the distance and clinch but Fiasco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fiasco breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fiasco gets control of Kepart's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fiasco will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fiasco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Julian Fiasco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Fiasco is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kepart to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kepart shrugs it off.

Julian Fiasco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fiasco winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Julian Fiasco was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
