Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Shaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kia Blank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kia Blank told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dick Shaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kia Blank!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blank moves into the clinch.
Shaver has Blank pressed against the cage, preventing Blank from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Shaver is trying to trip Blank. He has hold of a leg but Blank is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Shaver persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Shaver won't allow Blank to sweep him here.
Blank trying to control the position.
Blank is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Shaver works over Blank with some ground and pound from guard.
Blank looking to control but Shaver passes into half guard.
Shaver controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blank looks like he's trying to stand up.
Shaver perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We're going to have a standup here because Dick Shaver wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Shaver scores a takedown into full mount!
Shaver moves to back control.
Shaver misses with an elbow to the head.
Shaver lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Blank is trying to get back to his feet but Shaver has full control of the position and if anything, Blank has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Shaver biding his time, looking for the opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shaver is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Blank is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dick Shaver!
Dick Shaver decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
