Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doug Copley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerry Seinfeld!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Copley forces Seinfeld back against the cage and clinches.
Copley wants a takedown.
Seinfeld gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Copley.
Seinfeld stops a takedown attempt from Copley.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Copley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Copley is looking to take this one to the mat.
Seinfeld throws a punch but it's blocked by Copley.
Seinfeld looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Seinfeld blocks the elbow strike.
Copley throws an elbow but it misses.
Seinfeld tries to work over Copley's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Seinfeld tries to land knees in the clinch but Copley avoids the damage to the body.
Seinfeld tries to break free but Copley pushes him back against the cage.

Copley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Seinfeld looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Copley pushes down on Seinfeld's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Copley stops Seinfeld from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Seinfeld trying to hold on to Copley's head to control him but Copley postures up.
Copley wants to free his trapped foot but Seinfeld is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Seinfeld is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Copley scores with a couple of nice shots.
Seinfeld tries to kick Copley off but Copley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Copley slips a nice elbow through Seinfeld's hands, connecting with Seinfeld's forehead.
Seinfeld is looking to control Copley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Seinfeld avoid being mounted?
Copley throwing shots but Seinfeld is blocking nicely.
Copley prevents Seinfeld from improving his position.
Copley scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Seinfeld is looking to escape.

Copley is working for a submission of some sort.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Still in half guard, Copley seems content to control.

Copley is working for a kimura but Seinfeld is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Seinfeld wants to improve his position but Copley is controlling well.
Seinfeld is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Copley scores with a couple of nice shots.
Seinfeld is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Seinfeld is trying to control but can't.
Copley missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Seinfeld wants to get back to full guard.
Copley passes to full mount!
Copley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Copley wants to finish this one by submission but Seinfeld is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Copley.
Seinfeld is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Copley in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Copley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Seinfeld is bucking up trying to escape but Copley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Copley fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Copley has control of Seinfeld's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Seinfeld regains control of the situation pretty easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Copley softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Seinfeld is out cold! Copley jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doug Copley!
