Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liha Tuukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuukka lands the left hand.

It looks like Yuri Boika has been cut.
Boika uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tuukka.
A big left from Tuukka misses.

Tuukka changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boika looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Boika is looking for a sweep.
The ground and pound from Tuukka seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Tuukka connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Boika some visible discomfort.

Tuukka has knee on belly momentarily but Boika bucks him off and regains half guard.
Tuukka is stalling here. Boika is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tuukka seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Boika has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Boika has hold of Tuukka's hands but Tuukka slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Tuukka is nestled in close to Boika, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuukka lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Boika! More strikes land and this one is all over! Tuukka jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
