The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batirov throws a series of punches but Nguyen avoids them all with ease.
Nguyen moves to clinch but Batirov breaks away
and Batirov moves into the clinch.
Batirov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nguyen throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Nguyen wants to clinch.
Batirov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nguyen is fending him off so far but Batirov persists. Nope, Nguyen circles away and we're back to standing.
Nguyen tries a low kick but Batirov avoids it.

Batirov rushes Nguyen and presses him up against the cage.

Nguyen throws a strike but Batirov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nguyen tries to lock up and control but Batirov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Batirov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mavlet Batirov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Batirov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Batirov showed some decent athleticism there.
Batirov uses his free foot to push down on Nguyen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nguyen.
