Hammond's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "There's Been an Accident" by The Twilight Singers. Ben Hammond has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Hammond circles away.
Parker takes a kick to the side of the head.

It looks like Steven Parker has been cut.
Hammond keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hammond connects with a high kick.
Parker misses with a takedown
and Hammond counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Hammond looks at the referee who does nothing so Hammond lands a crushing right that sends Parker to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ben Hammond!
A relieved looking Ben Hammond thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
