PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Sizemore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thracian Spartacus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spartacus has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartacus shoots in for a takedown but Sizemore shows good takedown defense.

Sizemore rushes Spartacus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Spartacus keeps control of Sizemore as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Spartacus wants the takedown. Sizemore is fighting it off but Spartacus persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sizemore's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
