Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Talley there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Machida takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Talley looks to score with a jab to the body but Machida is just out of range.

Talley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Talley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Talley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Machida defends it easily.
