The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomba shoots in and drives through. Balic sprawls well.
Bomba slaps away a takedown attempt from Balic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bomba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Balic.

Bomba leaves Balic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Balic fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Balic shoots in looking for a takedown. Bomba tries to sprawl out of it but Balic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bomba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Balic lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bomba backs up against the ropes.
Balic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Balic connects with a body shot that sends Bomba's belly button to the back.
Balic tries to clinch but Bomba is having none of it.

Balic lands with a hook. Bomba tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bomba takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Balic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Balic jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Balic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Balic wants it to stay on the feet.
Bomba gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Balic.
Hrvoje Balic is winning the standup battle so far.
Balic throws a left that rocks Bomba and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Balic dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Bomba regain composure!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
