Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Middleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Middleton will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, William Middleton!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Middleton tries to avoid it but David manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Middleton to the ground. Middleton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Middleton pulls out of a head kick attempt.
David shoots in for a double leg but Middleton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
David shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan David. That's going to take a lot out of him.
David fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Middleton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Middleton! David is out on his feet! Middleton rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - David is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! David is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Middleton!
