The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strudel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Crusher looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Crusher ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Strudel moves away.
Strudel tries to close the distance and clinch but Crusher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Crusher swats away the attempt to clinch by Strudel.
Crusher shoots in but Strudel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Strudel tries to clinch there but Crusher circles away.
Strudel tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crusher swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Strudel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Strudel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crusher looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Strudel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Strudel counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Crazy Crusher has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crusher ducks right into an uppercut from Strudel.
Crunch! Strudel slams his shin into Crusher's torso.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Strudel cracks Crusher with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crusher looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Strudel finish him?

The fight stays on the outside here - Strudel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Crusher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Strudel sprawls well. Strudel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Crusher gets slowly back to his feet.

Strudel closes the distance and clinches.
Crusher seems to have recovered his senses.

Strudel's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Strudel wants to clinch up but Crusher keeps it at a distance.
Good exchange - Strudel coming out on top.
Crusher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Strudel as he jumps to the side.
Rudolf Strudel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crazy Crusher.

Crusher tries to keep at a distance but Strudel has taken the fight into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Strudel is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Strudel lands with a right to the head.

That has opened up Crazy Crusher's cut even more.
Strudel lands a big right hand that drops Crusher! The killer instinct kicks in and Strudel finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Strudel!
