The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yliremmi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Yliremmi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Riley misses the jab.

Yliremmi moves out of range as Riley strikes.
Yliremmi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Riley throws a hook but Yliremmi blocks it.
Yliremmi tries a head kick but it misses.

Riley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yliremmi.
It looks like Alpo Yliremmi has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riley tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Riley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Yliremmi counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Riley throws an overhand right that lands on Yliremmi's shoulder, as Yliremmi tries to avoid the shot.

Riley has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Riley there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Duke Riley has been cut.

Riley might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Yliremmi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Riley.
Yliremmi lands a big head kick that sends Riley tumbling to the mat! Yliremmi takes a step backwards and waves Riley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yliremmi feints and then cracks Riley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Riley down.

Alpo Yliremmi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Riley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Riley is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

That has opened up Duke Riley's cut even more.
Good leg kick by Yliremmi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Riley is still on wobbly legs! Can Yliremmi finish him?
Yliremmi weaves into range and cracks Riley right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Riley goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Yliremmi is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alpo Yliremmi!
