The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chepakov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cartnell checks it well.
A head kick misses from Chepakov.
Cartnell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cartnell cracks Chepakov with an open hand slap.
Cartnell scores with a hook to the body. Chepakov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cartnell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chepakov manages to avoid it.
Chepakov misses with a low kick.
Chepakov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chepakov tried to score with a low kick but Cartnell checks it.
Cartnell jabs at Chepakov's body.
Cartnell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Chepakov at a distance.
Chepakov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Cartnell and Chepakov goes tumbling to the canvas! Cartnell follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Anatoli Chepakov has been cut.

Cartnell escapes and gets back to his feet.
Cartnell cracks a nice hook into Chepakov's ribs.
Chepakov looks gassed!

Cartnell drops Chepakov with a big left hand and mounts him. Chepakov is in big trouble!

Chepakov is rocked!
Cartnell loads up with a big shot that hurts Chepakov! He's pulled Cartnell in close but Cartnell has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Chepakov survive? More strikes from Cartnell and Chepakov is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
