The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gracie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Barlow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gracie has managed to get both his arms back between Barlow's legs - danger averted.

Barlow is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Barlow is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Gracie frees his head nicely. Oh but Barlow has switched to an armbar! Gracie is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
