The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czosnek slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Kurt Tanner has been cut.
Tanner throws an overhand right that lands on Czosnek's shoulder, as Czosnek tries to avoid the shot.
Tanner cracks Czosnek with an open hand slap.
Czosnek clinches up with Tanner and pushes him back against the cage.
Tanner wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tanner tries to score a body lock takedown but Czosnek shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Czosnek is looking to control Tanner's arms but Tanner gets an underhook and turns him. Now Czosnek has his back to the cage.
Czosnek breaks from the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Czosnek.
Tanner shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Czosnek manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tanner is sitting in close to Czosnek's body. Czosnek has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tanner is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tanner is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Czosnek.
