Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nate Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Itagaki Manabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by Monster. Nate Miller is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manabu keeps the fight on the outside.
Manabu works Miller's body with a nice hook.
Miller moves to clinch but Manabu breaks away
and Manabu counters with a nice uppercut.

Miller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Manabu to get to his feet.

Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Manabu sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Manabu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Manabu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Miller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Manabu blocks the body kick.
Manabu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Miller drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Manabu gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Manabu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Manabu wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.

Miller scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Manabu stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Itagaki Manabu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Miller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Manabu walks away with a smile on his face. Miller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Manabu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Itagaki Manabu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Manabu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Miller backs up against the cage.
Miller pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miller is defended easily by Manabu.

Miller misses with a takedown attempt - Manabu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Manabu scores with a one two! Miller had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Miller has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Manabu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miller shoots in for a takedown but Manabu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Manabu is refusing to be controlled, as Miller sits in half guard.

Manabu wants to control the action here but instead Miller manages to pass to full mount!
Miller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller trying to control but Manabu is having none of it.

Miller has hold of Manabu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Manabu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Manabu is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Miller has taken his back!

Miller lands punches and elbows.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Miller is looking for the choke from the back position but Manabu is controlling his hands well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miller lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Miller.

A very excited looking Nate Miller rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
