Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Kildahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cooper Abreu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kildahl might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to dont get up. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kildahl takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Abreu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kildahl is fending him off so far but Abreu persists. Nope, Kildahl circles away and we're back to standing.
Kildahl keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Abreu throws a sloppy head kick
and Kildahl counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Abreu shoots for a double leg takedown but Kildahl sprawls well. He's pushed Abreu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Abreu tries to close the distance and clinch but Kildahl swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Abreu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Abreu lands in his opponent's guard.
Abreu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kildahl swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Abreu arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kildahl's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
