The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Jimmy Takaya has been cut.
Jesus Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takaya looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gonzalez wants to clinch up but Takaya keeps it at a distance.
Good exchange - Takaya coming out on top.
Takaya throws a series of punches but Gonzalez avoids them all with ease.
Gonzalez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gonzalez has managed to clinch.
Gonzalez is trying to break free.
Takaya tries to stall but Gonzalez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Takaya manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Takaya can't break the clinch.
Gonzalez has had enough of the clinch but Takaya keeps him there for the moment.
Gonzalez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gonzalez lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Takaya crumples to the floor! Gonzalez milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
