Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paula Abdul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by The Doors - Peace Frog. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Paula Abdul!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdul slaps away a takedown attempt from Walker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Abdul throws a right and a left that Walker avoids nicely.
Walker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Walker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Abdul.
Walker shoots for a double leg takedown but Abdul sprawls well. He's pushed Walker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Abdul has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Walker is working away from the top position though.

Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Abdul manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Walker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Walker throws a looping overhand right but Abdul ducks down to avoid it.

and Walker counters with a single leg into guard. Abdul didn't expect that.

Abdul is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jack Walker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Walker is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Abdul is stalling here. Walker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Abdul seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Walker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Abdul is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Walker will probably get the nod.

Paula Abdul is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Abdul lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Walker at a distance.
The fighters circling - Abdul throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Walker throws the left hand but Abdul avoids the punch easily.
Abdul bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Walker's head backwards.

Abdul takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Walker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Walker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Abdul has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Abdul and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Walker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Walker is keen to just control but Abdul is a slippery customer.
Jack Walker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Abdul might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Walker kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Abdul moves out of range of the leg kick from Walker.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walker avoids the body shot from Abdul.
Abdul is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Paula Abdul.
I think Walker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
