Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Funky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ore's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Pack - My Girl Got A Girl Too. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Funky drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Funky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Funky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Funky is working Ore over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ore is trying to keep Funky in close.

Funky looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ore with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Funky postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ore looks a forlorn figure.

A less than humble Ben Funky misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
