Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Poder Patrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoso Alvy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poder Patrik looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Patrik. No joy for Alvy on that attempt.
Alvy fails to land the takedown.

Poder Patrik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoso Alvy.

Alvy shoots in looking for a takedown but Patrik manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Alvy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Alvy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Patrik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alvy somewhat.

Alvy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Patrik misses with a jab, cross combination.
Patrik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Alvy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Alvy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patrik sprawls well. Patrik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alvy gets slowly back to his feet.

Alvy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Alvy wants to control from the top but Patrik keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alvy passes Patrik's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Patrik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alvy on the ground.

Alvy maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Patrik could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alvy has cracked it and Patrik is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alvy!
