Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Juhani Jarvela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jarvela's head backwards.
Santos moves out of range of the strikes.

Santos throws a nice head kick!
Jarvela is looking to clinch but Santos is avoiding it.
Santos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jarvela throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Santos scores with a nice right hand.

Jarvela has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jarvela circles away quickly and effectively.

Jarvela lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Santos goes down! The ref sends Jarvela to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Santos is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jarvela catches Santos napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Santos crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Jarvela raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Juhani Jarvela decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
