The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Penderas both land. Nice combination.
Penderas looks to score with a jab to the body but Bee is just out of range.
Penderas misses with a wild combination.
Bee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bee there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Bee counters with a right hand to the body.

Penderas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Penderas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Bee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Penderas pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bee back to the cage. Penderas follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

and Bee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Bee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Penderas.

Bee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Bee is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Penderas has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bee sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Penderas wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bee.
Penderas is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Penderas holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bee tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bee is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Penderas can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bee has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Penderas's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Penderas takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Bee loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Penderas scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bee land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bee stands and salutes the crowd.
