Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anton Gromov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Gallindo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallindo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eppur Si muove. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Eduardo Gallindo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallindo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gromov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gromov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Gromov avoids the head kick by Gallindo.
Gallindo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gallindo wants to stand but Gromov has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Gromov throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Gallindo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Gallindo's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gallindo is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Gromov closes the distance and clinches up with Gallindo, looking for a takedown. Gromov pushes Gallindo against the cage but Gallindo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gallindo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gromov's calf.
Gallindo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gromov.
Gromov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gallindo as he jumps to the side.
Gromov is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Horrible takedown by Gromov or perhaps it was just good defense by Gallindo which made him look bad.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gromov. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Eduardo Gallindo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gromov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gallindo.

Gromov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gallindo tries to avoid it but Gromov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gallindo to the ground. Gallindo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gallindo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gromov. That did some damage!

Gallindo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gromov.
Gallindo leaves Gromov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gromov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gallindo throws a sloppy head kick and Gromov moves out of range easily.
Gallindo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
No luck for Gromov with that takedown attempt.

and Gromov counters with a shoot takedown. Gallindo fights it but they end up in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
