Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyabusa misses with a hook. Cazares ducked under it nicely.

Hyabusa's corner calls for a 1-2. Hyabusa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Hyabusa misses with a head kick.
Cazares uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hyabusa.

Cazares is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hyabusa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hyabusa is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cazares is controlling him well.

Cazares thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hyabusa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Cazares has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hyabusa's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hyabusa is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Cazares wants to control the pace but Hyabusa is squirming around nicely.

Cazares lands a big shot there that rocks Hyabusa but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cazares cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Cazares wants to finish this one by submission but Hyabusa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Cazares.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hyabusa looks to land a left hand but Cazares moved out of range nicely.
Cazares rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hyabusa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hyabusa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Cazares.
Good work by Cazares as he checks the leg kick.
Ryu Hyabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hyabusa moves out of range of the strikes.
Cazares shoots in for a takedown but Hyabusa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hyabusa drops Cazares with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cazares looks back up at him and smiles so Hyabusa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Dino Cazares has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hyabusa walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Cazares drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hyabusa swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Cazares's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
