Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gsp Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Duran moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Silva throws a low kick, looking for Duran's leg but Duran calmly moves out of range.
Silva thows a body shot but no joy.

Duran explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Silva misses with a takedown attempt
and Duran counters with a nice uppercut.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Duran sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Duran fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.

Gsp Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duran fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A punch lands to the side of Silva 's head but he takes it in his stride.
