The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korba throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Phillips with a jab.
It looks like Erwin Korba has been cut.
Phillips throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Korba connects with a right hand. Phillips shakes it off.
Korba connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Phillips momentarily.
Phillips feints a jab promting Korba to slip. Phillips then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Korba slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Phillips looks to land a combination but Korba avoids it well.
Nice takedown defense from Phillips. No joy for Korba on that attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Korba feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Phillips is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Korba is controlling him.
Korba advances position into side control!
Korba tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Korba in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Phillips is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
