The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noir checks the leg kick nicely there.
Magande tries to bum rush Noir with a series of wild strikes but Noir uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Magande drops Noir with a left right combo! Magande follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Ezio Noir has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Magande tries to stand but Noir is controlling his head.
Noir is trying to control Magande's posture but Magande avoids it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ezio Noir.
Magande misses with a double jab

and Noir counters with a takedown into side control.
Magande on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Magande tries to get out of the position.
Magande wants to control but Noir postures up.
Magande is trying to improve his position.

Noir looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Noir is working to tighten is grip on Magande's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Magande has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Noir is really squeezing tight and eventually Magande passes out! Noir breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
