Chavez has chosen God's gonna cut you down Johnny Cash as his entrance music. Mohsen Mosaddegh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez throws a hook to the side of Mosaddegh's head but Mosaddegh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mosaddegh throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Mosaddegh takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chavez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mosaddeghs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Chavez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mosaddegh sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chavez thows a body shot but no joy.
Chavez moves away from the strike by Mosaddegh.
A punch combination from Mosaddegh misses.
Chavez throws a body punch but Mosaddegh moves out of range.
Mosaddegh misses with a straight left.
Mosaddegh checks a leg kick.
Chavez misses with a low kick.
Chavez throws a lazy right hand but Mosaddegh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Chavez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mosaddegh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Chavez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chavez attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Mosaddegh misses with a body shot.

and Chavez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chavez dives in and grabs Mosaddegh's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mosaddegh pushes down on Chavez's head and hops out.
Chavez's corner calls for a 1-2. Chavez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mosaddegh tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chavez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chavez avoids the body shot from Mosaddegh.

and Mosaddegh counters with a straight right hand.

Mosaddegh wants to slow Chavez down by chopping away at his legs.
Mosaddegh throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chavez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Mosaddegh throws a wild body kick that Chavez sees coming a mile off.
Chavez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chavez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mosaddegh tries to clinch but Chavez moves out of range.
Mosaddegh lands with a cross.
Chavez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chavez misses with a looping right.
Chavez throws a big shot that misses.
Mosaddegh throws a half hearted mid kick.

Mosaddegh staying out of range there.
Mosaddegh is pawing at Chavez, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Chavez's nose. Chavez is badly hurt! Mosaddegh pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Chavez tries desperately to hold on but Mosaddegh is relentless in his assault! As Chavez receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Mosaddegh away and this one is in the books!
