Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damn Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soul Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Soul Evans enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Good works over Evans's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Soul Evans has been cut.

Good throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Evans tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Good is in Evans's guard.
Evans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Damn Good has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Evans ducks right into an uppercut from Good.

Good lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Evans circles away quickly and effectively.

Good takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Evans is looking for a sweep. Good is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Good is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Damn Good.
Evans looks to throw the jab but Good is out of range.
Evans takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Good feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Evans throws a wild body kick that Good sees coming a mile off.

Evans shoots for a double leg takedown but Good sprawls well. He's pushed Evans's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Soul Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Good fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Evans sprawls well initially but Good persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Good fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
