Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Thirtynine scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Thirtynine shoots and misses
and Thirtynine takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thirtynine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Newton's waist but Newton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thirtynine off to one side.
Huey Newton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Thirtynine finds it's way through Newton's defenses.
Thirtynine dives in and grabs Newton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Newton pushes down on Thirtynine's head and hops out.
Huey Newton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saku Thirtynine.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Newton, as that shot connected.
Newton fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thirtynine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Newton looks to land a combination. Thirtynine sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
