Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gracen McDaniel!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Viktor Lagutenko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDaniel throws a wild body kick that James sees coming a mile off.
James is looking to land body kicks.
McDaniel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McDaniel, right into the meat.
McDaniel goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
James checks a low kick from McDaniel.
James throws a head kick that McDaniel semi-blocks.
It looks like Gracen McDaniel has been cut.
McDaniel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but James is out of range.
A head kick misses from James.
James instigates a clinch.
James with a knee to the head.
McDaniel has had enough of the clinch but James keeps him there for the moment.
McDaniel takes a knee right on the jaw!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Nice elbow from James.
James misses with a knee strike.
James utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
James gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
McDaniel is rocked!
That has opened up Gracen McDaniel's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James is pushing McDaniel up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
McDaniel is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
James jerks McDaniel's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! McDaniel drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! James goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from James because McDaniel was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Rick James!
