Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sun Shine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shine throws a nice looking combination but Strikes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Shine has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nice body punch from Strikes.
Shine throws a head punch that misses.
Strikes blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Strikes unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Shine lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Strikes is trying to force a seperation but Shine has the dominant position.
Strikes on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Strikes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shine tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Strikes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Strikes avoids the head kick by Shine.
A jab from Shine misses.
Strikes avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Shine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Strikes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A right-left combo lands from Shine.

Shine swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Still in the clinch, Shine scores with a nice short uppercut.
Strikes slowing the pace effectively.
Strikes lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Shine or not.

Shine tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Shine throws a punch but it's blocked by Strikes.

Strikes manages to break the clinch.
Strikes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Strikes moves into range and clinches up with Shine.

Strikes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strikes scores with a one two! Shine had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Strikes tries to clinch up but Shine circles away and keeps his distance.

Strikes clinches up against the cage.
Shine missing with knees to the body.

Strikes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Strikes looks to land a combination but Shine avoids it well.
Strikes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Strikes tries to clinch up but Shine circles away and keeps his distance.
Shine throws a right and a left that Strikes avoids nicely.

Strikes forces Shine back against the cage and clinches.
Shine misses with the head strike.
Shine creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Strikes unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Strikes connects with a nasty looking knee right to Shine's face.
Shine works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Shine tries to work over Strikes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Strikes manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Shine takes a knee right on the jaw!
Strikes avoids a wild elbow strike from Shine.

Strikes closes the distance and pushes Shine back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shine can't find room to land a body shot as Strikes controls the action.
Shine trying to control the position but instead, Strikes has worked for underhooks and has pushed Shine into the cage.
Shine has a couple of punches blocked by Strikes.
With the fighters up against the cage, Strikes throws an elbow but misses.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Shine throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Strikes works over Shine's head and body with a nice combination.

Strikes moves in looking to clinch but Shine pushes him off.
Oh Shine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Strikes circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Shine to the canvas! Shine doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Strikes keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
