Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lie Die!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Elliot Simpson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Die shoots in looking for a takedown. Simpson tries to sprawl out of it but Die keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Simpson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab from Die does it's job there.
Simpson wants to land a leg kick but Die is out of range.
Simpson misses with a few strikes there.
Die closes the distance and clinches up with Simpson, looking for a takedown. Die pushes Simpson against the cage but Simpson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Simpson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Die is looking to chop away at Simpson's legs.

Simpson scores with a takedown into Die's guard.
Die looking for a sweep. Not yet Die, not yet.
Simpson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Die. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Die is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Simpson is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Die looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Die manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Simpson manages to get himself to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Die slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Die pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Simpson is keeping the position for now.
Die is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Die passes Simpson's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simpson is refusing to be controlled, as Die sits in half guard.
Die thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Simpson's head.
Die not doing much here.

Die maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Simpson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Die has cracked it and Simpson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Die!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lie Die!
Lie Die decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
