Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omi Shuai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez comes to the cage accompanied by Only One Can Judge. Shuai is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Xiaolin Showdown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martinez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Martinez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Martinez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Shuai tries to reverse the position but Martinez maintains control.
Martinez is landing with some decent strikes but Shuai is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Martinez gets caught napping as Shuai dives in and scores a takedown. Martinez manages to retain guard.

Shuai isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Martinez stacks Shuai on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Martinez!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shuai enables Martinez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shuai manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
